Duties
Prepare a variety of desserts and sweet treats following established recipes and quality standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
Handle cash and credit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and register balancing
Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling featured items
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and customer areas in compliance with food safety regulations
Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality food preparation
Assist with food handling procedures to ensure freshness, safety, and adherence to sanitation standards
Experience
Prior food service experience or restaurant background is highly preferred
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
Solid understanding of food safety practices and sanitation protocols in the food industry
Experience in cashiering or cash handling demonstrates reliability with money transactions
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
Basic math skills for accurate cash register operations and order calculations
Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
