Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our busy specialty practice Capital Periodontics full time. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall patient experience. Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings, including sub gingival scaling to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take and process dental radiographs as needed
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software
Manage patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
Support the dental team with sterilization and infection control protocols




Ensure a welcoming environment that promotes excellent customer service

Skills
Proficiency in Dentrix or other dental office management software
Knowledge of general dentistry procedures
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, skilled demeanor
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

This role will be three shifts a week with an additional fourth day to be added with patient load.
No evening or weekends
Uniforms provided
Complimentary parking in front of building

(Dentrix knowledge, and periodontal experience an asset)

Pay: From $52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 36.0 per week
