About the Role

Trust Contracting Company Inc. is looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Construction Purchasing & Project Coordinator to support our construction projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing, supplier and freight coordination, project organization, and quantity takeoffs from construction drawings using AutoCAD.

Responsibilities
Coordinate purchasing activities for construction projects.
Review construction drawings and perform accurate quantity takeoffs.
Use AutoCAD to review drawings and assist with measurements and material quantities.
Prepare material lists and determine project purchasing requirements.
Request quotes and communicate with suppliers.
Place orders and follow up on pricing, availability, and deliveries.
Coordinate shipments and deliveries with freight companies.
Organize and track purchases by project.
Maintain accurate purchasing and project records.
Address material, quantity, and delivery issues as needed.




Work with project managers and internal teams to support project requirements.

Qualifications
2+ years of purchasing, construction, estimating, procurement, or related experience preferred.
Experience reading construction drawings and performing quantity takeoffs.
Proficiency with AutoCAD is required.
Construction industry experience is an asset.
Solid organizational and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and follow-up.
Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other computer systems.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.

What We Offer
$40,000–$55,000 per year, based on experience.
Full time Monday–Friday position.
