Role Description We’re hiring an AI consultant to help us choose the right tools, pressure-test what we publish, and design practical inference setups around open models.
The Aligned Order builds media and educational content around personal transformation. AI is already part of how we research, produce, and validate that work. We need someone who can separate signal from hype and turn model choices into something we can actually run.
What you’ll do
Advise on AI tools across research, content, operations, and production — what’s worth using, what isn’t, and why
Validate claims, workflows, and technical information before we pass them on internally or publicly
Recommend open models and help design inference around them (local or hosted): model selection, serving, hardware/cost tradeoffs, latency, and quality
Compare closed and open options so we know when each makes sense
Flag limitations, failure modes, licensing, and data-handling risks
What you need
Robust working knowledge of open models (LLMs and related architectures) and how to build inference around them
Hands-on experience evaluating tools, not just reading release notes
Explicit writing: you can explain a recommendation to non-specialists without dumbing it down
Comfort saying “this is wrong” or “this isn’t ready” with evidence
Assets
Voice AI (speech-to-text, text-to-speech, real-time voice models)
Video generation models and practical production workflows
Experience advising a small media or content team
