We are currently seeking a highly skilled UI Developer Lead to join our agile team, supporting one of our major banking clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of responsive, high-performance web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to front-end developers, including code reviews, technical discussions, and best practices.
Design and develop reusable, scalable UI components and front-end architecture.
Work closely with UX/UI designers, product owners, business analysts, and backend developers to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
Establish and maintain front-end coding standards, development practices, and technical documentation.
Troubleshoot complex UI and integration issues and provide technical solutions.
Collaborate with backend teams on REST API integration and application architecture.
Support production environments, including monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and performance optimization.
Participate in technical design, architecture discussions, and development planning.
Mentor junior and intermediate developers and help improve the overall technical capabilities of the team.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
8+ years of qualified experience in front-end/UI development, with experience taking a technical leadership role.
Solid hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript.
Experience with:
Angular 19
TypeScript 5.8+ and strict mode
NgRx and RxJS
Ionic and Capacitor
SCSS and Design Tokens
Jest
Webpack / Module Federation
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field preferred
