We are looking for an SAP Finance Functional Lead to join a Manufacturing client for a Contract role in Toronto, Ontario.

This position will work closely with project leadership and business stakeholders to strengthen finance-related processes, support functional analysis activities, and help align business needs with SAP S/4HANA capabilities.

The successful candidate will bring solid SAP finance expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to guide users through documentation, testing, and classroom-based training.

Responsibilities: • Partner with project leaders, internal team members, and external consultants to support finance-focused functional analysis across the engagement. • Serve as the primary Finance business liaison between internal teams and external integration partner, translating business needs into actionable requirements, decisions, issues, and readiness activities. • Gather, clarify, and document business processes and standard operating procedures to create transparent,



formal process records for stakeholders. • Translate business needs into functional guidance by ensuring requirements are well understood and aligned with the SAP implementation approach. • Review existing reference materials and internal documentation to identify gaps, refine process details, and support consistent execution. • Demonstrated ability to document workflow processes and departmental SOPs in a structured and practical manner. • Deliver training sessions and communicate complex information in a way that suits different audiences and levels of understanding. • Support testing activities using designated testing tools and help coordinate validation of finance-related processes and system outcomes. • Build robust working relationships across the project team by listening carefully, adapting messaging, and responding effectively to stakeholder concerns.
