Teach SCIE 331, Scientific Explorations, as a Sessional Instructor in Winter 2027 at the University of Calgary. Engage students with your expertise and foster critical thinking within a vibrant educational community.
The Natural Sciences Program invites applications for the Winter 2027 term. This position requires teaching one lecture session for SCIE 331 from January 4 to April 30, 2027. Candidates with effective communication skills and a passion for inspiring students, preferably with a Ph.D., are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging lectures for SCIE 331
• Foster critical assessment of scientific inquiry
• Inspire students to appreciate science

• Evaluate and support student progress
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in a scientific discipline preferred
• Robust written and oral communication skills
• Previous university teaching experience favored
