Lead community programs and events while managing volunteers at West End Seniors’ Network in Vancouver. This people-focused role offers a agile workplace with hands-on leadership responsibilities.

As the Program and Event Manager, you will play a crucial part in WESN’s mission to support older adults. With strong program management, volunteer coordination, and staff leadership, you'll create meaningful, accessible activities for the community. Your strategic oversight will ensure events and programs are engaging and responsive to members' needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee planning and delivery of community programs and events
• Lead and coach staff to build a collaborative team
• Manage volunteer services with effective standards




• Ensure successful execution of major events with partners
• Administer budgets and funding requirements effectively

Requirements:
• 4+ years in non-profit or community services management
• Experience in developing and managing staff and volunteers
• Strong skills in budget management and grant writing
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Awareness of older adults' needs in diverse communities
