Business Development Representative (Commission-Based, Contract)

Obelisk Talent connects Canadian and North American businesses with pre-vetted, full-time remote professionals from the Middle East. We handle sourcing, vetting, HR, payroll and compliance, so our clients get dedicated team members without the overhead of hiring internationally.

We're an early-stage, federally incorporated Canadian company, and we're looking for independent Business Development Representatives who want to build recurring income by opening doors with growing companies.

This is a commission-based, independent contractor role. You set your own schedule and approach. It's a strong fit if you already have a network among founders, CTOs or operations leaders at Canadian SMBs and want a high-upside offering to bring them.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Identify and engage Canadian tech and SaaS companies (10–200 employees) that are scaling their teams

Run discovery conversations with founders, CTOs and hiring managers

Book qualified meetings and work alongside our founders to close deals

Manage and track your pipeline in our CRM

WHAT WE OFFER

Recurring commission:



earn a share of each client's monthly fee for every month they stay with us, not a one-time payout. Full details are shared during the first call.

WHO YOU ARE

Based in Canada

2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience; staffing, recruiting, outsourcing or SaaS is a robust plus

An existing network among Canadian business owners, founders or tech leaders

Self-directed, comfortable with outreach, and motivated by uncapped earnings
