Become a Bus Attendant with the Ottawa Catholic School Board. This temporary role focuses on student safety during transport, ensuring comfort and support on school routes. The OCSB is hiring a Bus Attendant for a term position starting immediately until approximately November 6, 2026. The role involves working split shifts before and after school, ensuring students’ safety while entering and exiting the bus. You’ll report any issues or emergencies directly and maintain the confidentiality of student information throughout your duty. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure students' comfort and safety during transportation
Assist students entering and exiting the vehicle safely
Report problems or emergencies to the Driver immediately
Communicate directly with the Supervisor (Principal)
Maintain required documentation and confidentiality Requirements:
Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
Experience with children with exceptionalities is an asset
Previous school board experience preferred
Positive interpersonal and communication skills
