About the Role Our client is looking for a meticulous and proactive Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Kimberley. This hybrid role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of warehouse activities, from receiving and put-away to picking, packing, and dispatch. You will support the warehouse management team, maintain accurate inventory records, and contribute to process improvements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and is eager to contribute to optimizing logistics operations in the Northern Cape province.
Key Responsibilities Assist in managing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to schedules.
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels using the warehouse management system.
Coordinate the receiving and dispatch of goods, ensuring proper documentation and quality checks.
Support warehouse staff in their daily tasks, providing guidance and resolving issues as they arise.
Participate in regular inventory counts and audits to maintain data accuracy.
Contribute to the implementation of process improvements to enhance warehouse productivity and safety.
Requirements 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or operations support role.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Basic understanding of inventory control principles.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
