Play a vital role as a Temporary Intake Coordinator at Kids Kottage Foundation. Support families in crisis by triaging admissions and guiding families through external resource connections.
In this full-time temporary position, you will work at least three shifts per week, focusing on children in need of 24/7 care. Responsible for initial assessments and documentation, you will manage crisis calls and facilitate family connections with community resources. Your expertise will help navigate child care during crises and support families post-discharge.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to crisis calls and gather necessary information
• Conduct initial assessments and identify risk factors
• Maintain a professional, non-judgmental attitude
• Refer families to community resources
• Provide follow-up support after child’s stay
Requirements:
• Degree in Social Work or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in crisis support
• Knowledge of community resources is an asset
• Current First Aid Level C certification
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
