Location: Various locations across Alberta

As aLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide essential patient care in avariety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-termcare facilities. Your role will focus on supporting patients' daily needs,administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to promoteoptimal health outcomes.

KeyResponsibilities:

Assist inthe daily care of patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding, whileensuring comfort and dignity.

Administermedications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patients for side effectsand effectiveness.





Observeand record patients' vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition, reportingany concerns to the healthcare team.

Maintainaccurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in electronichealth records (EHR).

Workclosely with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionalsto coordinate patient care and support treatment plans.

Educatepatients and their families about health management, medication usage, andpreventive care strategies.

Adhere toinfection control protocols and safety standards to ensure a safe environmentfor patients and staff.

Provideemotional support and comfort to patients and their families, fostering acompassionate care workplace.

Requirements

Completionof a practical nursing program from an accredited institution.

Validstate LPN license and current CPR certification.

Previousexperience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Strongclinical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.

Demonstrated commitment to providingcompassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining confidentiality.
