Reporting to the Senior Director of Responsible Investing, this role is integral to our Asset Management team. You will conduct detailed research on ESG risks and opportunities, participate in stakeholder engagements, and track policy developments. Your findings will enhance our expertise in responsible investment solutions tailored for Canadian investors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct research on ESG risks and opportunities.
• Monitor news and assess headline risk for assigned sectors.
• Identify and report material ESG risks for portfolio companies.
• Engage with companies, preparing meeting materials and notes.
• Support policy tracking and proxy voting initiatives.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Minimum three years’ experience in research roles.
• Strong analytical and data management skills.
• Understanding of ESG factors influencing company risk.
• Fluency in English; French is an asset.
