Responsibilities
Develop and deliver engaging lessons that align with curriculum standards for various age groups and skill levels.
Foster a positive learning setting that encourages student participation and curiosity about French language and culture.
Assess student progress regularly through assignments, tests, and informal evaluations, providing constructive feedback.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with diverse learning styles, including those with special education needs or disabilities.
Incorporate technology and Microsoft Office tools to enhance lesson plans and classroom activities.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to support student development and address individual learning requirements.
Manage classroom behavior effectively while maintaining a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.
Skills
Fluency in both French and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual proficiency is essential for effective instruction and student engagement.
Prior experience working with children in classroom settings or tutoring environments.
Strong organizational skills to plan lessons, manage time efficiently, and track student progress.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and experience working with young learners or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for lesson planning and documentation purposes.
Excellent writing skills to develop transparent instructional materials and assessments.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learners, including those requiring special education accommodations.
