Duties
Measure clients accurately to determine tailoring needs and desired fit
Alter, repair, and customize garments according to specifications and style preferences
Operate sewing machines, pressing equipment, and other tailoring tools efficiently and safely
Consult with customers to understand their requirements and provide expert advice on fit and fabric choices
Maintain a clean, organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency during all tailoring tasks
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines




Provide excellent customer service by communicating progress and ensuring satisfaction with finished garments

Requirements
Proven experience as a tailor or in a similar sewing and alteration role
Strong knowledge of sewing techniques, fabrics, and garment construction
Basic math skills for taking measurements, calculating fabric needs, and adjusting patterns
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to listen carefully and communicate clearly
Ability to work independently with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to adapt to different garment styles and customer preferences
A passion for craftsmanship and delivering high-quality results

Pay: $16.48-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30.0 per week
