Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and weld symbols.
Fit, align, assemble, and prepare steel, plate, structural components, and piping.
Perform accurate pipe fitting, fabrication, and weld fit-up.
Use grinders, drills, saws, torches, and other fabrication tools.
Measure and verify dimensions using tapes, squares, levels, calipers, etc.
Tack weld where qualified and prepare joints for welding.
Work with welders and quality teams to ensure proper fit-up and dimensions.
Assist with rework, repairs, and continuous improvement.
Follow all safety and quality procedures.

Requirements
2+ years of Welding Fitter, Welder-Fitter, Fabrication Fitter, or Pipe Fitter experience.
Heavy manufacturing, structural steel, or industrial fabrication experience preferred.
Solid blueprint and welding symbol reading skills.
Experience with pipe fitting and welding preparation.
Positive mechanical aptitude and measurement skills.
Overhead crane and forklift experience is an asset.
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced shop workplace.
Trade certification is an asset.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
