Responsibilities
Safely operate the stone slinger truck, ensuring exact placement of materials according to project specifications
Conduct pre-trip inspections of heavy equipment and commercial vehicles to ensure operational safety and compliance daily
Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, equipment usage, and maintenance records
Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly
Perform routine automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime
Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working workplace for yourself and others
Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (A-Z liccense) with a clean driving abstract
Minimum 5 years experience driving a stone slinger
Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or similar machinery
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations in construction or transportation settings
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot mechanical issues
Solid communication skills to coordinate with team members and site personnel
Physical stamina to handle long periods of outdoor work, including lifting heavy loads when necessary
