Kids Academy provides quality care for children aged 0–5 in a bright, spacious center with large playgrounds. We focus on play-based learning and a supportive setting for all children.

About the Role

We’re looking for adaptable and reliable substitute educators (ECE or Infant Toddler) to join our team on an as-needed basis. This includes covering sick days, vacations, training, or classroom support. Some shifts are scheduled in advance, while others are offered early in the morning for same-day coverage.

Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials in line with Kids Academy’s framework
Implement and make necessary adjustments to daily schedule to meet the developmental needs of the children in the classroom
Follow childcare regulations during work hours, in and outside of the classroom
Follow the designated lesson plans when interacting with children




Abide by all policies and procedures set forth by Kids Academy
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Able to communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children

Shift Details
Most shifts are 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Callouts are sent prior

Requirements
Valid ECE or ECE IT certification
Current First Aid & CPR Level C
Explicit Criminal Record Check
Dependable, responsive, and adaptable
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with children, parents, and colleagues

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $19.00-$27.00 per hour
