Duties
Prepare a variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and specialty items with precision and flair
Lead bakery operations by managing daily production schedules and ensuring timely delivery of products
Oversee cake decorating projects, creating visually appealing designs for special occasions
Maintain high standards of food handling, safety, and sanitation in compliance with health regulations
Supervise and mentor bakery staff, fostering teamwork and skill development in food preparation and baking techniques
Ensure proper packaging of baked goods for retail display or customer orders to preserve freshness and presentation
Provide excellent customer service by offering product recommendations and answering questions about ingredients or baking methods
Requirements
Proven experience as a baker or bakery lead within the food industry, with a strong background in baking and food preparation
Skilled in cake decorating, food handling, and kitchen safety protocols
Experience working in a restaurant or quick-paced food workplace is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Solid leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team of bakery staff
