Duties
Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using Micros POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring quick and friendly service
Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling responsibilities, using Micros POS systems
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
Maintain proper food handling procedures, ensuring all products meet health regulations and quality standards
Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling orders, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean work environment
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is highly desirable
Robust customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Ability to operate POS systems like Micros POS confidently and efficiently
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
Experience with cashiering and upselling techniques to boost sales and enhance guest experience
Kitchen experience or familiarity with food industry standards is a plus
