Our client is seeking an creative Industrial Engineer with a specialization in automation and robotics to join their team in Kimberley . This role will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing automated systems and robotic solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency, safety, and productivity. You will work on cutting-edge projects, integrating advanced technologies into existing production lines and developing new automated workflows. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement automated systems and robotic cells for manufacturing processes.
Evaluate and select appropriate automation technologies and equipment based on project requirements and ROI analysis.
Program and troubleshoot industrial robots and automated machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and mechanical engineers, to integrate automation solutions.
Develop and maintain documentation for automated systems, including control logic,
operating procedures, and maintenance schedules.
Analyze production data to identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement of existing automated processes.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering with a specific focus on automation and robotics.
Proven experience with industrial robot programming (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) and PLC systems.
Strong understanding of automation principles, control systems, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in CAD software for designing automated work cells and layouts.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
