Responsibilities
Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health history and specific concerns
Develop customized massage therapy plans tailored to individual needs and goals
Perform a range of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities as appropriate
Maintain explicit communication with clients before, during, and after sessions to ensure comfort and satisfaction
Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend exercises or lifestyle adjustments when necessary
Adhere to all health and safety standards, including proper sanitation and infection control procedures
Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress in compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Valid registration and licensure as a Massage Therapist with the appropriate regulatory body
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health conditions
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for clients
Effective communication skills to clearly explain treatment plans and address client questions or concerns
Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for new graduates
Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
