Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy of contents and ensuring proper documentation
Unload and load trucks using equipment such as forklifts or reach trucks
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
Prepare shipping labels and documentation for outgoing shipments
Maintain inventory accuracy by performing regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies
Operate warehouse management systems (AS400, MRP) to track inventory and process orders
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center workplace
Proficiency in order fulfillment processes, including order picking, packaging, and shipping/receiving
Familiarity with warehouse distribution systems (AS400, MRP) is a plus
Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or reach trucks safely and efficiently
Solid attention to detail and ability to accurately track inventory
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
