We are seeking a talented Makeup Artist & Hairstylist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for beauty and makeup artistry, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and enhancing clients' natural beauty.

Responsibilities
Perform makeup applications for various occasions such as weddings, special events, and photoshoots
Provide skincare consultations and recommendations
Conduct product demonstrations and educate clients on makeup techniques
Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences
Assist with front desk duties and guest services
Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience
Has reliable transportation to be able to travel an 1.5 hour radius from Kitchener-Waterloo area and open to working destination weddings

Skills
Should be passionate about learning makeup & hair application techniques for different skin types, tones, hair textures, etc.
Ability to conduct product demos and educate clients on skincare products
Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members




Familiarity with upselling techniques to promote additional services or products
Previous experience in front desk or guest services roles would be an asset
Required to have their own kit, and reliable transportation. We are happy to help build the kit that is required.
Knowing both makeup and hair, or interested in knowing both is an asset but not required
Ideal candidate may be a beginner, or intermediate.
