Senior Software Engineer – Java, React

Job Description:
We seeking a Senior Software Engineer to enhance a cross-asset order and position management system.
The engineer shall have experience designing and building robust| scalable systems that support portfolio management| order and trade lifecycle processing| and investment strategies.
You will work closely with portfolio managers| quantitative analysts| and product teams to develop technology solutions that create tangible business value in the capital markets space.

Key Responsibilities
(%80 Backend/20% Frontend) Design and implement end-to-end technology solutions in an Agile setting.
Collaborating with business and technical partners. Leverage AWS cloud services to build scalable
cloud- native applications aligned with long-term architecture goals.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines| automated tests| and infrastructure-as-code for productive deployment. Ensure system performance| reliability| and scalability across mission-critical applications.



Drive engineering excellence through coding best practices| technical mentorship| and peer collaboration.

Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience with Java in enterprise systems5+ years of Spring
7+ Boot 3+ years of React 5+ years working with relational databases
7+ (e.g.| PostgreSQL| MySQL) Strong analytical and problem-solving
7+ skills excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills:
Experience in Capital Markets| Portfolio Management| or Risk Analytics Developing and deploying systems on AWS
Experience with containerization (e.g.| Docker| Kubernetes) Working knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Terraform| GitHub Actions| or Jenkins Comfortable working in fast-paced| regulated settings with high-performance expectations AI Driven Software Development

Pay: $70.00-$75.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON (Toronto District)
