Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation to ensure timely service and consistent quality
Cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including chopping, plating, and storage areas
Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold food safety standards at all times
Support the serving staff by ensuring orders are prepared accurately and efficiently
Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and rotating stock to minimize waste




Adhere to all health department regulations and restaurant policies to promote a safe working environment

Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment
Applicants must have or Food Handlers certificate or get one within 2 weeks of getting hired.
Familiarity with food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices
Experience with meal preparation for a high-volume environment is a plus
Solid understanding of serving standards and customer service principles within the food industry
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards

Pay: $17.60-$24.84 per hour
