The Investment Finance team is seeking an Investment Finance Intern starting in January 2027 at our Toronto office. The intern will have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals in a high-performing entrepreneurial environment, helping with the daily operations of the management company.
We are looking for energetic, energetic individuals who thrive in fast-paced and high-performance environments. Ideal candidates will be completing either a master’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration and have a demonstrated track record of curricular and extracurricular excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and book daily transactions, track investment information.
- Reconcile cash, holdings and capital activity and investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain books and records and calculation of fund and investment Net Asset Values (NAV).
- Prepare capital activity notices including capital calls and distributions.
- Liaise with fund administrators to complete activities.
- Prepare investor P&L; allocations, including distribution waterfalls.
- Prepare NAV workbooks,
financial statements and partner capital statements.
- Prepare quarterly performance measurement reporting and adhoc reporting.
- Participate in the annual audit process including the preparation of audit financials and note disclosures.
- Process daily underlying investment correspondence.
- Assist with implementation of new strategic projects and initiative.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Foundation of accounting knowledge and concepts.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
