As a Deckhand, you will work closely with the Mate, directing vehicle and foot passenger traffic, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining the vessel’s cleanliness. Essential skills include hands-on seamanship, emergency response, and the ability to handle heavy objects. Your proactive approach will contribute to a secure travel experience for all passengers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Direct vehicle and passenger traffic on the vessel
• Communicate effectively with crew and ticketing staff




• Check propane tanks for safety compliance
• Secure decks and gates prior to departure
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks

Requirements:
• Marine Emergency duties training (STCW certifications)
• Valid Seafarers’ Medical Certificate
• Knowledge of seamanship and safety practices
• Ability to lift heavy objects and climb ladders
• Bridge Watch rating preferred
