Based out of WSP's offices across Canada, you will play a pivotal role in the Energy, Resources, and Industry Project Controls team. This position requires extensive experience in industrial, oil and gas, mining, and power generation projects. You’ll be responsible for developing estimating models, delivering detailed financial estimates, and mentoring junior estimators.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead development of cost estimating models
• Deliver auditable capital and operating expenditure estimates
• Assess contractor claims, delays, and risks
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to resolve financial assumptions
• Mentor junior estimators to strengthen skills
Requirements:
• Extensive project estimating experience required
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office
• Knowledge of estimating software like K-Base or InEight Estimate
• Fluency in English and French
• Ability to manage competing priorities and timelines
