Summary
Reporting to the Supply Chain Team Leader, the main responsibility as Demand Planner (Supply Chain Analyst) is to run a series of reports /tools facilitating decisions in Supply Chain; As we continue to automate some of these reports / tools, the role will evolveinto more predictive analysis of supply chain events

Primary Responsibilities
Run reports / tools used to support decision making in Supply Chain
Thorough understanding of material and information flow across the internal FGF supply chain
Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to develop and maintain the Sales Forecast that drives the production planningprocess.
Thorough understanding of how new products are introduced (from a planning view point)
Thorough understanding of promotion cycles by customer, product transitions, fluctuating trends, productseasonality
Monitor sales forecast performance and reflect in forecasting future sales after consulting with the Sales team
Perform ad-hoc analysis requests, as required
Participate in continuous improvement projects by collaborating closely with other teams in the organization
Required Experience
Post-secondary education in Business, preferable with focus on Supply Chain
2-3 years of supply chain experience or equivalent.
Strong analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced Excel is a must
VBA, Python or any other language for statistical computing and data visualization would be a strength
Some ERP experience required
