The position is casual with no guaranteed hours and focuses on empowering Indigenous students through cultural pride and academic collaboration. Advocate for student needs by acting as a positive role model and working alongside teachers to promote effective learning. Communication with families is central to ensure holistic support for each student.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide cultural and social-emotional support to students
• Act as an Indigenous role model promoting cultural pride
• Collaborate with teachers for academic and emotional support




• Communicate effectively with families for student success
• Submit administrative reports to the Indigenous Education Department

Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
• Two years of relevant post-secondary studies
• Minimum 6 months experience with Indigenous students
• Familiarity with local Indigenous communities
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License
