Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival with a friendly and qualified demeanor
Manage reservation bookings and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions
Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service flow
Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area to enhance guest comfort
Handle phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information and reservations
Assist in managing guest flow during busy periods to minimize wait times and maximize satisfaction
Skills
Robust guest services and customer service skills with a welcoming personality
Previous experience in serving or food service roles preferred but not required
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Hospitality background or hotel experience is a plus for understanding guest needs
Professional phone etiquette and clear verbal communication skills
