Lucky Supermarket is an Asian-Western grocery store offering a wide variety of fresh produce, groceries, and specialty products from around the world.
We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Produce Clerk to join our team at our Maples location. In this role, you’ll help ensure our produce department is fresh, organized, well-stocked, and welcoming.
Key Duties
Greet customers and assist with produce questions and selections.
Ensure produce is fresh, well-stocked, and attractively displayed.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the department.
Stock and organize produce inventory.
Assist with inventory control and proper stock rotation.
Remove damaged or spoiled produce as required.
Work collaboratively with team members to keep operations running smoothly.
Follow all food safety and workplace safety procedures.
Requirements
Knowledge of Asian and Western fruits, vegetables, and other produce is preferred.
Previous produce, grocery,
retail, or customer service experience is an asset.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with merchandising and produce displays is an asset.
knowledge of cleaning and food safety standards.
Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks.
Able to perform physical duties including lifting, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
