A.S.P. Incorporated is hiring a Canine Explosive Handler for its Explosive Detection Dog and Handler Team program. This position involves comprehensive training, maintaining certifications, and ensuring the well-being of your assigned canine.
The role demands flexibility in responding to last-minute service requests while adhering to federal regulations on explosive detection and training.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain certification in Explosive Detection Dog Handler Program
Provide 24-hour care and housing for assigned canine
Conduct K9 operations indoors and outdoors
Respond to urgent and unpredictable canine service requests
Document daily training and compliance records
Requirements:
High School diploma or Grade 12 education
Valid Security license and Driver's License (G or higher)
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
Willingness to provide a Criminal Record check
