Dawson Partners (“Dawson”), based in Toronto, is a fast-growing private equity firm focused on accelerating liquidity on private equity portfolios through structured solutions. Dawson seeks to provide customized and flexible liquidity solutions for private equity investors through the use of structured solutions with existing investors or outright purchases of portfolios which are subsequently structured into different securities. Dawson is looking for diverse, energetic, and energetic individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance, entrepreneurial environment. Ideal candidates will be completing their senior year in 2028 with a degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Economics and have a demonstrated track record of curricular and extracurricular excellence.
Capital Management Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting with investor due diligence requests, conducting market research, helping with investor and marketing materials for LPs, and assisting with the investor relations process
- Executing detailed research and analysis to assist in new LP origination and other strategic initiatives
- Assisting with the logistics for various investor meetings and events
- Collaborating with other Dawson professionals to strengthen relationships with Dawson LPs
- Helping to maintain the data integrity of internal systems and infrastructure, including CRM, databases, and data rooms
- Assisting in the preparation of fundraising offering materials and select quarterly reporting materials
- Assisting the CM team with other ad hoc projects and initiatives as required
Education/Certification:
- Expected graduation in 2027 (or 2028)
- Exceptional academic record
- Extracurricular leadership experience
