Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Crop Worker to join our agricultural team. This role involves supporting various farming operations, including planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops. The ideal candidate will have a solid work ethic, relevant experience in agriculture or horticulture, and the ability to operate farm machinery and tools safely. Responsibilities
The job duties include all activities related to the planting, care/cultivation, harvesting, packing, sorting and handling of fruits and vegetables such as tomatoes and berries.
Care and cultivation include crop maintenance, crop removal, greenhouse setup and supporting activities.
Other regular duties include cleaning, organizing and maintaining tools, and equipment, as well as greenhouse work areas,
both inside and outside.
Workers can assist with loading and unloading materials and record keeping.
Experience
Prior experience in farming, agriculture, or horticulture is preferred
Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery, power tools, and equipment repair is advantageous
Familiarity with greenhouse management is desirable
Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or specialized farm machinery is preferred
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
