Overview
We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our health team on a part time basis as a Medical Receptionist. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a medical office setting, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with EMR systems. This role is essential in supporting clinical staff and o ensuring the smooth daily operation of the office.

Duties
Greet patients and assist them with the check-in process
Managing the phone, faxes and email in a timely, professional and friendly manner
Schedule appointments and maintain the patient calendar
Accurately maintain electronic medical records
Ordering medical supplies and maintaining office inventory for the reception area
Provide general administrative support for the medical team

Requirements
Previous experience in a medical office or administrative healthcare setting




Strong understanding of medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism
Solid communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues
Robust understanding of medical terminology
Experience using medical software scheduling and billing
Diploma in Office Administration Medical preferred

Experience:
