Job Summary
Tommy's is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple tables while providing a memorable dining experience. This role requires a qualified who is knowledgeable about food safety, sanitation, and restaurant operations to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth service flow.

Duties
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
Assist with food preparation and kitchen support as needed
Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction
Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health standards




Collaborate with team members to ensure effective restaurant operations

Skills
Proven experience in food service or restaurant environment with a solid understanding of hospitality principles
Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, skilled demeanor
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques
Ability to perform basic math for billing, tipping, and cash handling accurately
Experience in food industry roles such as serving, food preparation, or kitchen support is preferred
Effective communication skills to interact with guests and team members seamlessly
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue
Basic understanding of restaurant operations including guest services and hospitality standards
