We are seeking a reliable and safety focused Service Worker to join our brand-new Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) clinic. You will play an key role in ensuring medical instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, disinfected, sterilized, and prepared for safe patient care. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards of infection prevention and quality assurance. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new clinic and help establish safe, effective reprocessing practices.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Organize, prepare, and clean exam rooms and ensure each room is appropriately stocked
Ensure sharps and biohazard waste is disposed of appropriately; safely remove filled sharps and biohazard waste containers and secure or send for final disposal
Sterilize, repackage, and appropriately store endovaginal ultrasound probes and instrument kits
Monitor clinic procedure-related supply inventory; re-order with supervisor and stock supplies
Empty filled general waste receptacles
Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications
Grade 12 diploma
Work experience in a medical clinic is an asset
Completion of an accredited Medical Device Reprocessing Program is an asset, but not required
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
