As a representative of Trico communities, the Mobile Patrol Security Guard is expected to consistently demonstrate the organization’s core values of Trust, Respect, Integrity, Community and Chance, while contributing to a positive team culture and providing exceptional service to residents and tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all of Trico Communities Policy’s and Procedures are adhered to.
Provide responsive, professional customer service to all tenants of the property in a timely manner
Ensuring security duties are carried out in compliance with all federal, provincial, and municipal laws including The Criminal Code of Canada; Trespass to Property legislation
Responding to all dispatch calls for Alarms, Building checks and Guard Service needs
Travel will be required to to multiple sites
Attending all designated patrols and doing full site patrols
Driving company vehicles safely and obeying traffic laws
Acting in a guard capacity as requested
Completely detailed and accurate shift reports
Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
A valid Alberta Security Licence required prior to employment
An up to date Driver's Abstract
A recognized and current First Aid and CPR certificate prior to employment
Minimum of (2) years in a security industry
Must be certified in Handcuff Training
Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience managing challenging security situations
Meticulous record keeping, report writing, verbal and observational skills
Exceptional judgement, common sense and decision making ability
Be able to work independently, reacting appropriately in any situation by remaining calm and skilled
Ability to operate security equipment/systems, camera recording systems, computers and radios
Solid critical thinking and problem solving skills.
