We are looking for a Kitchen Team Member to join our team The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, a passion for cooking, and a strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for food preparation, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed. We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain the kitchen and expo area.
Wash dishes
Take out garbages
Cleaning tasks as needed
Assist in the preparation of food as needed.
Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is in clean and in proper working order.
Communicate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
Friendly, outgoing personality work well with the public




Abiity to use and learn new technology (food apps, kitchen and pos software)
Food Handlers Certified (or willing to get within 30 days)
Experience with preparing Caribbean food an assset
Understanding of Jamaican Patois language & Jamaican culture an asset
Serving experience an asset but not required
Ability to work in a quick pace setting
Available for days evenings, weekends and possible call ins

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $17.65 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
