We are hiring a Monitoring Surveyor Assistant to support our surveying and monitoring team on construction projects across Toronto. This is an excellent chance for someone looking to start or grow a career in construction surveying. No extensive experience is required. We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious individuals who enjoy working outdoors and as part of a team.

What You'll Do

As a Monitoring Surveyor Assistant, you will:
Assist Monitoring Surveyors with collecting data from building, surface, ground, and utility monitoring points
Help ensure monitoring data is collected accurately and according to project requirements
Transport, clean, maintain, and organize survey equipment
Perform basic equipment inspections and assist with equipment setup and calibration
Report damaged or missing monitoring points, benchmarks, or equipment
Follow all health and safety procedures while working on active construction sites
Work closely with the monitoring team to complete daily assignments efficiently

What We're Looking For
0 to 2 years of experience in construction surveying, monitoring,



or a related field is an asset but not required
Basic knowledge of surveying equipment or construction practices is preferred
Robust attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Able to lift and carry survey equipment throughout the workday
Available to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends when required

Requirements
Legally authorized to work in Canada
Able to work on active construction sites while following all safety procedures
Successful candidates may be required to complete and pass a criminal background check before starting employment
