Vertical Pipeworks Ltd. is seeking an experienced Grade A Pressure Welder for a permanent, full-time position based in Langley, BC. This is an on-the-road position with work performed at various commercial and industrial project locations. Frequent or regular travel is required.

Responsibilities
Interpret welding process specifications.
Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals and processes.
Perform welding on process piping in accordance with applicable procedures and specifications.
Perform gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW/TIG), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and multipass welding.
Work with stainless steel, steel, iron and other heavy metals.
Examine welds and ensure they meet required standards and specifications.
Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment.
Requirements
Other trades certificate or diploma.
3 years to less than 5 years of relevant welding experience.
Pressure Welding Certification.
Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate.
Experience with process piping.
Experience with GTAW/TIG, SMAW and multipass welding.
Valid driver's licence.
English language proficiency required for the position.
Must be willing to travel regularly to various work locations.
