We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef de Cuisine to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation. Working along our Executive Chef, you will be responsible for hiring, training and scheduling of employees, inventory control, menu development and executing dishes according to our recipes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, strong leadership skills, and a creative approach to menu development.
Duties & Responsibliites
Prepare and cook delicious and visually appealing dishes according to menu specifications
Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, ensuring productive workflow and adherence to food safety standards
Develop and update menus, taking into consideration seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following sanitation guidelines
Train new kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and safety procedures
Collaborate with management to create new recipes and improve existing ones
Ensure consistent quality of food by conducting regular taste tests
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in a quick-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
