About the Role Our client, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering skills development among young people, is seeking an enthusiastic Program Coordinator - Youth Development to join their team in Kimberley. This role is responsible for the successful implementation and coordination of various youth empowerment programs, ensuring they are engaging, impactful, and meet their intended objectives. You will work directly with youth participants, community stakeholders, and volunteers to create positive learning experiences and pathways to success. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact on the lives of young people in the Northern Cape.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate the planning and execution of youth development programs and workshops.
Engage with youth participants, providing mentorship and support.
Manage program logistics, including scheduling, resource allocation, and participant registration.
Collaborate with schools, community centers, and other local organizations.
Track program progress, collect feedback,
and assist in reporting on outcomes.
Recruit and manage volunteers for program activities as needed.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Education, Community Development, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in program coordination or youth work.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with young people.
Passion for youth empowerment and community development.
Familiarity with the Kimberley area and its youth challenges is beneficial.
