Why This Role Matters
As a Marketing Events Specialist, you will join a team at the heart of how Tecsys connects with customers, partners, and the industry through events that strengthen our brand.
You’ll bring events to life, from industry conferences and trade shows to customer events, workshops, and regional programs. Working closely with Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, and other cross-functional teams, you’ll turn event strategies into seamless, high-quality experiences that support business objectives. You’ll coordinate stakeholders, vendors, timelines, budgets, and logistics to make sure every event succeeds from planning through execution. Your organization and attention to detail will help us deliver events that leave a lasting impression.

What You’ll Do
Plan and execute events from concept to completion.
Coordinate timelines, budgets, vendors, logistics,
and stakeholders.
Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, and Creative teams to deliver engaging event experiences.
Manage registrations, sponsorships, signage, shipping, catering, A/V requirements, and on-site support.
Track event performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Help build scalable event processes and best practices across Tecsys.
Requirements
What You Bring
You do not need to match every line below. If most of it describes you, apply:
A university degree or DEC in computer science, IT or a related field, or equivalent experience
Experience in technical support, help desk or a customer-facing support role (up to 3 years); recent graduates with internship or co-op experience are encouraged to apply
Strong SQL skills and the ability to read Java-based code, logs and stack traces
Excellent written and spoken English, with strong listening skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly
A logical troubleshooting approach and the composure to manage multiple cases under pressure
Availability for a late shift (4 PM ET to midnight or 5 PM ET to 1 AM ET) or a weekend-based schedule (8 AM ET to 8 PM ET on weekends plus two weekdays); schedules are shared in advance
