As a General Manager, you are an enthusiastic role model who motivates Team Members to deliver exceptional service for every guest, every time. You build positive relationships with your team members and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
As a passionate team leader, you believe in the importance of training Team Members to ensure high standards of guest service, quality and cleanliness are achieved. Through your knowledge of the quick-service restaurant industry, you take pride in supporting the Owner in the day-to-day operations of a rapid-paced restaurant.
Your 3+ years of quick-service experience in a supervisory role combined with your practical knowledge of recruiting, training and coaching Team Members make you an ideal candidate for this role.
Responsibilities:
Managing labour costs through effective scheduling and floor management
Controlling food and paper costs using order guides
Ensuring that product launches and promotions are executed with perfection
Resolving guest issues, as well as working with your team to minimize issues
Participate in the recruitment process
Training new Team Members
Monitor weekly and monthly inventories
Prepare and provide restaurant Team Members with performance reviews
Train, remind and encourage Team Members to follow all Health & Safety policies and programs we have in place
Coach and discipline Team Members as needed
Be a leader and always lead by example by following all Tim Hortons policies and procedures
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
Balance cash and complete balance sheets
Complete cash reports and related forms
Foster a positive work environment through leadership and example

Compensation:
Salary $51,000 - 65,000
Bonus pay up to $10,000

The company was founded in 1964 in Hamilton, Ontario, by Canadian hockey players Tim Horton and Jim Charade, after an initial venture in hamburger restaurants. In 1967, Horton partnered with investor Ron Joyce, who assumed control over operations after Horton died in 1974. Joyce expanded the chain into a multi-billion dollar franchise. Charade left the organization in 1966 and briefly returned in 1970 and 1993 through 1996.
