Experience with Kroll/Telus Health pharmacy software
Previous community pharmacy experience
Education/Certification
Pharmacy Technician Diploma from an accredited Community College
Certified as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with OCP,
in good standing
Injection training and certification
Responsibilities
Accurate entry and dispensing of prescription medications
Technical verification of prescriptions and blister packs
Blister pack preparation
Preparing non-sterile compounds (Level A)
Proficient in third party billing and insurance adjudication
Train patients on use of drug administration and monitoring devices
Handling prescription drop-off and pickup
Ensuring the proper storage of pharmaceuticals and maintaining inventory
Managing workflow within the dispensary
Greeting customers and managing inquiries appropriately
