Lead the Burnaby Shelter Program as the Overnight Shelter Program Manager with Progressive Housing Society. This role focuses on efficient operations, personnel management, and successful program delivery from November to March.

As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all operations of the winter shelter to ensure a supportive workplace for vulnerable adults. Your leadership will drive collaboration among staff and ensure delivery aligned with organizational policies. This position requires a proactive approach to staffing, emergency response, and daily operations management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, and administer the Burnaby Shelter Program
• Oversee 24/7 program operations and staff management




• Handle emergency response and staffing concerns promptly
• Ensure adherence to policies and mission objectives
• Train and mentor staff for effective program delivery

Requirements:
• Master’s in Social Work or related field preferred
• 5 years’ experience with vulnerable populations
• 3 years of supervisory experience with large teams
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean abstract
• Successful criminal record check completion
